AR Curling is a fantastic example of how Augmented Reality can turn a niche sport into a fun living-room activity. The physics of the 'stone' sliding across your floor (or coffee table) feel remarkably authentic, taking into account the friction and the curl of the throw. It turns your physical space into a digital rink in a way that feels magic the first few times you see it.
The sweeping mechanic is the most interactive part—actually swiping frantically on your phone to guide the stone adds a physical element that standard mobile games lack. While it’s a bit of a battery drain due to the constant camera use, the novelty and the accuracy of the AR tracking make it a must-try for sports fans looking for something unique. It’s a great 'show-off' app for what your phone can do.

For the best experience, find a well-lit area with a textured floor (like a rug or patterned tile). This helps the AR tracking remain stable so the 'house' (target) doesn't drift during your shot.
Sweeping only increases the distance and reduces the curl. If your stone is already moving too fast, stop sweeping immediately to let the friction of the ice slow it down toward the button.
It works best on light, well-detailed surfaces. Very dark or reflective floors may cause the AR tracking to lose its position.
